Ordering Process: What to Expect

Placing an order is straightforward. Choose a style or specific arrangement, add any personalization such as a message card or ribbon color, and provide the delivery address along with special instructions (gate codes, building names, or preferred delivery times). Payment and confirmation are completed at checkout. After ordering you should receive an order confirmation and, in many cases, a delivery notification once the order is en route.

Timing & Cutoffs: Same-Day vs. Next-Day

Same-day delivery is often available for orders placed early in the day, though exact cutoff times vary by florist and by demand. During regular periods, many local florists accept same-day orders until mid-afternoon; on busy holidays or during peak wedding season, earlier cutoffs or limited same-day availability are common. If you need guaranteed timing for an event, choose next-day delivery or schedule the delivery in advance to secure the preferred window. When sending sympathy flowers for a service, consider confirming service times and venue instructions in advance to ensure timely delivery.

Special Delivery Options

Common delivery options include:

• Contactless drop-off at the door
• Signature-required hand-delivery
• Timed or scheduled deliveries for events
• Deliveries to residences, businesses, and event venues

Flower Care Tips

To help blooms last longer once delivered, follow these simple steps:

• Trim stems: Cut about 1/2 to 1 inch off each stem at a 45° angle before placing in water to improve uptake.
• Use fresh water and floral food: Change the water every two days and add the provided preservative if available.
• Remove excess foliage: Strip leaves that fall below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
• Keep cool: Place arrangements away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and ripening fruit.
• Re-cut and refresh: Re-cut stems and replace water every few days to extend freshness.

For delicate varieties (like tulips or lilies), follow any specific care notes provided by the florist to keep them at their best for special events.

Final Notes

When scheduling a delivery in Covington, Georgia, allow extra lead time for peak holidays and large community events. If you have specific timing needs for a wedding, memorial, or corporate program, contact the florist in advance to confirm availability and delivery windows. Clear delivery instructions and a thoughtful note can make a big difference in how your gift is received.
